Brian M. Taddonio has over two decades of experience handling trademark, copyright, and entertainment-related matters from inception to solution on behalf of a broad array of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, international luxury brands, iconic apparel companies, hip-hop media conglomerates, household appliance manufacturers, law firms, hedge funds, restaurant and hospitality groups, startups, and various entrepreneurs while living and working in New York, Los Angeles, and Wilmington, NC.
Brian’s practice is focused on searching and clearing trademarks, filing and prosecuting trademark applications, drafting coexistence agreements, drafting and sending cease and desist letters, negotiating settlement agreements, and litigating matters before the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and various federal district courts. In addition, Brian has extensive experience protecting the copyrights of creatives as well as defending against copyright trolls. Separately, Brian has served as a guest lecturer for law school trademark clinics serving those in need.
Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan, and a Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School.
In his free time, Brian enjoys running, swimming in the ocean, and pedaling a front-loader cargo bike around the neighborhood with his wife Lara, daughter Olympia, and dog Teddy.
